Free Holiday Concert

This free 90-minute “Joy to the World” concert is sure to please holiday music fans of all ages. A brass orchestra featuring 19 brass instruments, percussion and a harp will fill your heart with holiday cheer. The concert is free, but reservations are recommended at www.justinrudd.com/concert. Guests are encouraged to bring a donation of a dry or canned food item for the church’s holiday food bank. Concertgoers who want a sweet ending can stick around after the concert for a holiday cookie tasting which will be $5.00 and also at the church.

Norse Way in Long Beach is throwing a holiday party to celebrate their newly completed street renovation. The first annual HOLDAYLIGHT the Nite is a one-day street festival with free live music, holiday shopping deals, vintage fire engines and even a visit from the Grinch and Santa. Long Beach legends, the King Salmon Band provide a rockin’ festive soundtrack and the evenings main event, the tree lighting will go on at 6:00PM sharp.

The HOPE Center for the Arts is staging its 31st annual holiday spectacular with music, magic and tons of great performers. Featuring choir arrangements, dance performances, holiday videos and more, this holiday variety show is for a great cause. The HOPE Center for the Arts is a resource for adults with intellectual disabilities and donations to the HOPE Friends & Family Show benefit the performers directly.
