Signia Styletto Connect

The Signia Styletto is a hearing aid that doesn't look like a hearing aid. By reengineering the battery compartment, Signia created a new discreet and modern form factor for the more fashion-conscious hearing aid wearer. This hearing aid is a battery-powered slim RIC that thinks outside the box of conventional hearing device design. It does this by by utilizing a completely redesigned, super-thin lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The Styletto uses Signia's Nx chip and has the most important Nx features, like OVP (Own Voice Processing). According to one Signia survey, Styletto was favored by of 8 out of 10 wearers. Recently, Signia upgraded the Styletto to Styletto Connect, which provide wireless audio from smartphones and other Bluetooth devices. The newest Styletto Connect family features wireless streaming of phone calls and music directly from the iPhone. Using their StreamLine mic and StreamLine TV accessories, a wearer can also stream from other (non-iPhone) Bluetooth smartphones and TVs.

Does the Styletto Connect have a Telecoil?

No, it does not have a telecoil. You can stream audio from iPhones directly to the devices or use a streamer accessory to stream audio from Android phones or bluetooth-compatible landlines.

Can you take your charger with you when you travel?

The pocket-sized portable charging unit that comes with Styletto Connect delivers a full day of use with 5 hours of streaming. Even a 30-minute fast charge provides 5 hours of use – or 3 hours of streaming – giving wearers a lot of flexibility when they are on the move.

What is OVP?

OVP, or Own Voice Processing, helps users get used to the sound of their amplified voice. The OVP technology produces higher wearer acceptance due to better sound quality of the user's own voice.
