An Overview of New Hearing Aids Available in Cerritos

An Overview of New Hearing Aids Available in Cerritos

At Fidelity Hearing Center, we fit hearing aids from all of the leading hearing aid brands, so Dr. David DeKriek can match you with the technology that suits your hearing and routine. Six new models stand out this year, and each one takes its own approach to the same goal of clearer conversation.

What Today's Newest Hearing Aids Share

All six of the new models use AI, most often deep neural networks trained on large amounts of speech and noise, to separate the voices you want to hear from the sound around them. Many also support Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, a broadcast standard that lets compatible hearing aids receive audio directly from airports, theaters, places of worship, and other public venues.

The models differ in how they balance speech clarity with awareness of your surroundings, which is why the best choice depends on your hearing test results and the places you spend your time.

Oticon Reveal and Phonak EON

Oticon Reveal

Oticon Reveal is what Oticon describes as the world's first hearing aid powered by Dual AI. One system, Speech AI, identifies and clarifies the voices around you, while a second system, Context AI, preserves meaningful environmental sounds. The two work together in real time. Reveal also brings an updated feedback system and a new connectivity platform that supports iPhone, Android, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast.

Phonak EON

The Phonak EON is the third generation of Phonak's Audéo Sphere technology. Its dedicated AI chip separates speech from background noise, and Phonak reports the new design is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere generation. Spheric Speech Clarity is now available in three performance levels, WindBlock 2.0 reduces wind noise for people who spend time outdoors, and native Auracast support is built in. EON is designed for mild through profound hearing loss.

Signia MaX and ReSound Sensia

Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX

The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX runs four neural networks at once, each focused on a different task: tracking conversation partners, recognizing your own voice, reading the room, and managing noise. That makes it a strong fit for restaurants, meetings, and lively group conversations. Its OneConnect technology combines Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, and a telecoil, and the Auracast hardware is already included, with full function expected through a firmware update by March 2027.

ReSound Sensia

ReSound Sensia follows ReSound Vivia and is designed to bring forward the person you are facing in a noisy room. At the Sensia 9 level, the microRIE detects difficult speech-in-noise settings and automatically combines its neural network with a four-microphone beamformer, with no program switching needed. Sensia comes in a rechargeable microRIE, custom styles, CROS models, and bimodal models that work with Cochlear Nucleus sound processors.

Starkey Omega AI+ and Widex Allure AI

Starkey Omega AI+

Starkey's newest flagship, Omega AI+, launched in October 2026 and builds on the Starkey Omega AI platform. Its G4 processor runs four specialized deep neural networks at once, covering speech and noise, directionality, spatial awareness, and a new DNN Dual Compressor that balances speech audibility with natural sound quality. Edge Mode, Starkey's extra support for noisy places, can now stay active as your surroundings change. The My Starkey app adds Sleep Quality Tracking for RIC wearers, and the RIC RT model offers up to 51 hours of battery life per charge.

Widex Allure AI RIC

Widex Allure runs on Widex's W1 chip and is known for natural sound, with ZeroDelay technology that processes sound in about half a millisecond. The newest model in the family, the Allure AI RIC, adds a dedicated AI co-processor that works on demand. A tap on the hearing aid or in the app turns on the Clarity Boost program, which sharpens speech in noisy places, and the rest of the time you keep Widex's natural everyday sound.
